Ok this one is wack and wierd. It seems that twenty one years ago, Joe Richardson lost his engraved class ring while on a fishing trip on Lake Sam Rayburn. A fisherman caught a large bass last week and while cleaning it discovered the tarnished but otherwise perfectly preserved ring.
After, tracking down Joe Richardson on the internet, the fisherman discovered the Joe lost the ring about two weeks after his mother paid a few hundred dollars for it, and was mightily displeased by its loss. Now married and living near Houston in Buna, Texas, Joe decided not to clean the ring but to leave it as it was found as a display.
The fisherman prefers not to reveal his identity about the ring that didn't get away--perhaps he was fishing without a license?
