Wacky Witches of Coven Oldenwilde

Asheville, NC

Some wacky news from our favorite mountain town--Asheville, North Carolina. Seems that a few wacked out witches have been causing trouble for filmmaker Giuli Schacht by brewing up some apparently false evidence about her breaking into and robbing their house--which they insisted was also their place of worshop. Coincidentally, a new law was inacted in North Carolina just 5 days before the accusation, that made it a felony to rob a place of worship.

Steve Rasmussen, aka, Diuvei, and Dixie Deerman, aka, Lady Passion, calling themselves the High Priestess and High Priest of the Oldenwilde Coven in Asheville, produced a eyewitness that described the robber as a 20 year old blonde girl (Giuli Schacht is a 50) and a tape recording that appeared to be doctored that attorney James Wilson suggested to the jury was, at best, "fishy."

The jury was out less than five minutes to find Ms Schacht innocent. It will be interesting to see what the witches conjure up next and how the DA will justify the use of tax payer's money in this wacky case. See full story at JackMoesBlog.
